MES Engineer
This role focuses on delivering BI insights through development of MES functionality, Power BI reporting, and automation projects across multiple facilities. The engineer will be responsible for supporting system design, upgrades, and implementation aligned with internal standards and processes. Collaboration and mentoring are key parts of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop MES applications using Wonderware System Platform and AVEVA modules
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data pipelines (Power BI Gateway, SQL Server, SSIS)
Collaborate on integration of control systems (PLC programming, Ethernet/IP)
Support LIMS platforms and BPM workflows
Migrate reporting assets from SSRS/Tableau to Power BI
Perform custom application development (Visual Studio/C#, .NET)
Apply object-oriented principles in automation environments
Assist in designing secure, scalable BI environments
Requirements:
BS in Engineering or related discipline
Proficient in HMI development, ladder logic (Allen Bradley ControlLogix), and MES platforms
Strong skills in SQL, DAX, data modeling, and report development
Experienced in industrial automation, communication protocols, and server infrastructure
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Able to travel up to 25%
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
