Professional Land Surveyor
We are working with client who is seeking a licensed and experienced Professional Land Surveyor to join their team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, preparing legal descriptions, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all survey data. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of local and state surveying regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field surveys including boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction staking.
- Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports.
- Operate and maintain surveying instruments including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
- Interpret and analyze survey data, maps, and legal documents.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to support project goals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Supervise and mentor survey technicians and field crews as needed.
Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the state of Utah (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of land surveying experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, legal boundaries, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for fieldwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with drone surveying and LiDAR technologies.
- Familiarity with Washington County land use and zoning regulations.
