Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)P
A well-established general contractor with a strong presence across the Southeast is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater treatment plant projects in the Nashville market. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with a strong backlog of municipal and infrastructure work.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of water and wastewater construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall financial performance
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution
- Lead project planning, procurement, and subcontractor buyout
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and contract specifications
- Track progress and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Identify and resolve project risks, challenges, and change orders
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil or utility construction
- Strong background in water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, or related municipal infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage projects $5M+ (larger project experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, scheduling (Primavera or MS Project), and cost control
- Strong communication and leadership skills
