Remediation Practice Lead
Our client is looking for a Remediation Practice Lead to head up their remediation service line in Southern California. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of complex remediation projects, provide strategic direction, and serve as a technical authority. You'll work closely with clients, regulators, and internal teams to deliver sustainable, science-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of soil, groundwater, and site remediation projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, geologists, and scientists.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state (e.g., DTSC, RWQCB), and local environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and support business development efforts.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality assurance for multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in environmental remediation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional licensure (PE, PG, or equivalent) in California preferred.
- Deep knowledge of California environmental regulations and remediation technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
