Position Overview
The Security Operations Manager will lead and manage 24/7 data centre security operations, ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of mission-critical infrastructure. This role is key to maintaining operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily security operations of the data centre, ensuring compliance with SLAs, internal protocols, and local regulations.
- Develop and implement emergency response procedures for incidents, breaches, and unauthorized access.
- Manage maintenance of security systems and supervise vendor performance, including preventive and corrective actions.
- Lead third-party security service providers, establish service agreements, and monitor KPIs.
- Conduct regular inspections, health checks, and emergency drills.
- Enforce adherence to operational documents such as SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.
- Ensure compliance with certifications and audits (e.g., ISMS, SOC2, PCI).
- Manage change processes, risk assessments, and communication of operational impacts.
- Prepare incident reports, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain logs, access reports, incident records, and inventory of security components.
- Participate in risk assessments and periodic security reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in data centres or high-security environments.
- Experience in mentoring and training security personnel.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, TIA-942, SOC2, and local data protection regulations.
- Strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and security control room operations.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CPP, PSP.
- Proven ability to manage third-party service providers, KPIs, and service contracts.
- Experience in incident reporting, root cause analysis, budgeting, and asset management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
