Senior Civil Project Manager
Overview:
Our client, a boutique civil engineering consultancy based in Los Angeles, has entered a new stage of growth and is seeking a senior land development engineer to join the team as a true number two within the organization. This is a key hire for the firm and an opportunity to step into a high-ownership role with meaningful visibility across the business. The individual in this position will work closely with the firm's CEO, take on significant oversight and responsibility within the team, and help serve as a pillar of the organization as the firm continues to grow.
The firm's work includes a mix of multifamily residential, higher education campus developments, and commercial projects throughout the Southern California market. This opportunity is well suited for an entrepreneurial engineer who values ownership of their own projects, close collaboration with key decision-makers, and a path for progression driven by performance, initiative, and long-term impact.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $120,000 to $160,000

Key Qualifications:
- California PE license required
- Strong background in civil engineering and land development
- Experience managing projects with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Ability to operate in a leadership capacity and provide oversight within a growing team
- Comfortable working closely with executive leadership and contributing beyond day-to-day project delivery
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in helping shape processes, direction, and growth within a smaller firm
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with land development work in Los Angeles or the broader Southern California market
