They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex geotechnical investigations and materials testing projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the continued success of their engineering practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through execution and reporting.
- Conduct site investigations, subsurface explorations, and laboratory testing programs.
- Perform engineering analyses including slope stability, foundation design, and earth retention systems.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and client communications.
- Provide oversight and guidance for construction materials testing services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE or MSCE).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- ICC certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, LPILE, gINT) is preferred.
