Position Overview

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical systems for large-scale facilities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainable design, energy efficiency, and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design projects in the MEP/Facilities sector, including HVAC, plumbing, co-generation, and centralized energy systems.
  • Develop client relationships and support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and RFP responses.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and internal quality practices.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on multidisciplinary teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as needed.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, DBIA, or CCM certification.
  • Experience with central plant systems and large campus infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Skills and Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in CAD (3D/4D) and engineering design tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
