Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects across California. This role offers hybrid flexibility, allowing for remote work with periodic in-person collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project delivery, client engagement, and team leadership within the water/wastewater sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service and project outcomes.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate internal and external resources.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and contract compliance.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- California Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successful project management and client engagement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with public agencies and municipalities.
- Familiarity with funding programs, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools.
