Role Overview
They are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for complex structural challenges.
You will lead structural design efforts, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, industrial facilities, and infrastructure.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural assessments.
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical/electrical engineers, and project managers.
- Review and approve drawings, calculations, and submittals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Support business development and proposal efforts as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior engineering staff.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum 8-10 years of structural engineering experience.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, STAAD, RAM, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of building codes (IBC, AISC, ACI).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
