Senior Structural Engineer
We're partnering with a highly respected engineering and consulting firm in Seattle seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the lead on complex projects across commercial, institutional, and mixed-use sectors while mentoring junior staff and helping shape the direction of the team.
What You'll Do:
Lead structural design and analysis for new construction and renovation projects
Oversee project delivery from concept through construction administration
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants
Perform site visits, write technical reports, and ensure code compliance
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing
Engage in client-facing meetings and support business development efforts
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
PE license required (SE preferred)
10+ years of structural engineering experience, with a strong portfolio in building design
Proficiency in Revit, ETABS, RISA, or similar structural analysis tools
Deep understanding of seismic design and local building codes
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
