We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Traffic Project Manager to join our growing team in Indianapolis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex traffic engineering and transportation planning projects while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver traffic engineering projects from concept through completion.
- Prepare traffic impact studies, signal design, and roadway safety analyses.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and client communications.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and planners.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and assist in business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license required.
- 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning.
- Proficiency in traffic analysis software (Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, etc.).
- Strong understanding of MUTCD, AASHTO, and local design standards.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
