Senior Project Manager - Water Resources
Position Summary:
A well-established consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water resources projects in the Southern California region. This role is ideal for a highly experienced professional with deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex water resources projects including stormwater management, flood control, watershed planning, and environmental restoration.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and oversee all phases of project delivery, from concept through construction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and regulatory submittals.
- Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
- Support business development efforts and proposal preparation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (Master's preferred).
- California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering and project management.
- Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater design, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Southern California water agencies and permitting processes.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $135,000 - $175,000 annually.
