Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design infrastructure systems and facilities for water, wastewater, and related sectors
- Develop technical documentation including studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Support project coordination, including client communication and stakeholder engagement
- Contribute to industrial process control and control systems design
- Mentor and guide mid-level engineering staff
- Participate in construction management and inspection activities
- Assist in proposal development and presentation efforts
- Define scope, schedule, and budget for new projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes
- Manage projects from initiation through completion
- Review design submittals and ensure projects meet budget and timeline goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure design for water, wastewater, or stormwater systems
- Bachelor's degree in related engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date
- Certifications in quality control are preferred
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills preferred
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Experience in business development and client engagement
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
