The Role
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join a dynamic team in Orlando. This is a mid-level role ideal for someone ready to take ownership of design packages, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of high-profile new construction and renovation projects. You'll work closely with senior leadership and have a clear path toward increased responsibility and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design efforts for new building projects across a variety of sectors.
- Support renovation and adaptive reuse projects with thoughtful, technically sound solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality, integrated designs.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and client communication.
- Mentor junior engineers and support a culture of technical growth and collaboration.
Key Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering; M.S. preferred.
- PE license in Florida.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design of buildings.
- Strong understanding of concrete, steel, and masonry systems.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, RAM, RISA, Revit).
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
