Structural Project Manager
A multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Project Engineer to join their structural team. This full-time role offers the chance to work on a wide range of building projects across California, including new construction and retrofit work. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, project ownership experience, and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support building design projects from concept through construction
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants
Serve as a point of contact for clients and design teams
Prepare structural drawings, calculations, and design documentation
Conduct site visits, respond to RFIs, and perform construction administration
Mentor junior staff and contribute to QA/QC efforts
Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Qualifications:
7+ years of structural engineering experience
B.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis); M.S. preferred
P.E. license in California (S.E. preferred)
Proficiency with ETABS, RISA, SAFE, and related software
Experience with various structural materials in seismic regions
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Authorization to work in the U.S.
