The Role:

This opportunity is for a skilled Structural Engineer ready to make an impact on renovation and rehabilitation projects across the New York City area. You'll be working within a dynamic team delivering inspections, surveying, and construction administration services that maintain and transform some of the region's most critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze and prepare structural design documents and estimates.
  • Inspect field conditions and provide recommendations for repair.
  • Oversee installed work for compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Conduct meetings with contractors and clients, and generate field reports.
  • Provide designs, specifications, and technical submissions for review.
  • Review submittals, shop drawings, shoring plans, and calculations.
  • Contribute to the creative resolution of engineering challenges in the field.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • EIT Certification required; PE license a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of structural design software is a plus.
  • Intermediate technical writing and report generation skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities in English.
  • Self-motivated team player able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation to/from offices and job sites.
  • U.S. citizen or green card holder.
  • Suspended/Stationary Scaffold Certification is a plus.
