Utilities Construction Project Manager
About the Role:
We are working with a well-established contractor serving the Temple area, seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee field operations on water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects. This is a leadership role responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily on-site construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate suppliers and field personnel to maintain schedule and quality standards.
- Monitor site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with stakeholders.
- Resolve field issues and proactively manage changes or delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, schedules, and logs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in water treatment plant construction
- Proven ability to budget and schedule effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, safety regulations and budgeting.
- Proficiency with construction management software and forecasting tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- PMP or Construction Management degree preferred
- Valid driver's license
