Water Project Manager

Team Leadership & Project Oversight

  • Guide engineering and design staff, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying scale, from inception through completion, including oversight of external partners.
  • Monitor team performance and project milestones, making strategic adjustments to maintain alignment with overall objectives.

Client Engagement & Strategic Growth

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, collaborators, and industry partners.
  • Work alongside leadership and technical specialists to identify new opportunities and shape business development strategies.
  • Support proposal writing, client presentations, and fee negotiations for upcoming project pursuits.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings and professional networking events to enhance visibility and foster new connections.

Required Background

  • 3-10 years of experience in water-related infrastructure projects, including planning, engineering, and project delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • EIT certification.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools and BlueBeam Revu.
  • Strong grasp of financial metrics and project budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Passion for water infrastructure and public utility systems.

Preferred Credentials

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), or willingness to obtain within one year.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • PMP certification.

The position is hybrid - 3 days in office and 2 available for remote.
