A respected engineering and consulting firm with a strong regional presence is seeking a Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer - Project Manager to join its infrastructure team in Missoula, Montana. Responsibilities
- Develop plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports for municipal and industrial water/wastewater systems.
- Lead design efforts using Civil 3D or similar software platforms.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications.
- Provide construction support, including site visits and field observation.
- Review RFIs, submittals, and progress payments; ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements to meet local, state, and federal standards.
- Collaborate with community members, agencies, and officials to align project goals and gather input.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction; water/wastewater focus preferred.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required; PE license preferred or obtainable post-hire.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- PMP certification is a plus.
