About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Manager to oversee operations, field execution, and project performance across the Southeast region. This role is ideal for a proven leader with a strong background in construction management, power generation, and large-scale industrial projects. The Area Manager will support multiple active sites, drive operational excellence, and ensure projects meet safety, quality, and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily project activities across multiple sites within the Southeast region.
  • Provide leadership to field teams, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient work execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans; implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Interface with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Support long-term planning, staffing, and resource allocation across assigned projects.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering, or strong construction industry-related work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in field engineering, project management, or equivalent roles within power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial construction.
  • Power generation experience strongly preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training completed prior to hire or within 30 days of onboarding.
  • NCCCO Rigger Level I certification preferred; candidates without current certification may be considered if willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Solid understanding of project controls, scheduling, and project risk management tools.
  • Strong technical knowledge of power plants and power equipment.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
