Asphalt Paving Superintendent

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee and manage daily paving operations on multiple job sites. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate asphalt paving crews and subcontractors.
• Plan daily operations, including equipment, materials, and labor needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and clients.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide on-the-spot solutions.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in asphalt paving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of paving equipment, techniques, and materials.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA certification preferred.
