Are you an experienced estimator with a passion for renewable energy and innovation? We're looking for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Estimator to help deliver high-impact, utility-scale energy storage projects. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team shaping the future of clean energy infrastructure.
As a BESS Estimator, you'll play a critical role in the preconstruction phase-analyzing project documents, developing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our proposals are competitive, comprehensive, and aligned with client goals.
What You'll Do
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for BESS projects
- Review drawings, specs, and vendor quotes
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
- Maintain historical cost data and tools
- Support business development with technical insights
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of estimating experience (preferably in renewables or electrical construction)
- Familiarity with BESS or similar energy projects
- Proficiency in HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Excel
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus
