I am working with a well-established building automation and controls business that supports clients across service, maintenance, and project delivery. The company has a strong regional presence and is looking to appoint a senior operations leader to help drive performance, team development, and continued growth across the Southeast.
About the Position
This is an opportunity for an experienced Controls Operations Manager to take ownership of automation operations across Georgia and Alabama. The role will suit someone with a strong background in building automation systems, controls service, and project delivery, who can lead teams, improve processes, and support profitable growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead controls operations across service and project teams
- Drive operational performance, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Improve processes, productivity, and team alignment
- Support revenue growth and margin performance across the region
- Work closely with sales, project teams, and senior leadership
- Mentor and develop technical teams while maintaining high standards of delivery
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in building automation / HVAC controls / BAS / BMS
- Leadership experience within controls service or project operations
- Strong knowledge of systems such as Niagara, Schneider, and/or Distech
- Proven ability to improve efficiency, team performance, and customer outcomes
- Comfortable travelling regionally and supporting field operations when needed
