Department Lead - Civil Engineering
Location: Baxter, MN
Compensation: Up to $160,000 + Profit Sharing & Full Benefits
Schedule: Full-time, On-site Only
We are seeking a highly experienced and licensed Civil Engineer to lead our Civil Engineering department in Baxter, Minnesota. This is a client-facing leadership role with direct engagement with city staff, oversight of active projects, and responsibility for new business development.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team of 7 professionals including licensed engineers, EITs, and designers.
- Serve as the primary contact for municipal clients and city staff.
- Drive strategic growth through project leadership and business development.
- Ensure high-quality project delivery and team performance.
What You Bring
- 15+ years of experience as a licensed civil engineer.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven success in client relations and team management.
- Willingness to relocate to the Baxter area- this role is on-site only (no hybrid or remote options).
