Electrical Engineering Manager
Company Summary: A leading developer of utility scale PV, wind, and BESS is looking to for an Electrical Engineering Manager to join their team. They are highly reputable, with over 80+ projects with a generating capacity of over 1.2GW. This nationwide developer is looking for an Engineering Manager who will lead external engineering partners and crossâfunctional teams to deliver and standardize engineering solutions across preâconstruction and construction for 50-200+ MWdc solar, storage, and hybrid projects, optimizing site design for constructability and operational efficiency
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage internal and external engineering resources across all disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Structural, Substation, BESS, SCADA) from development through construction.
- Advance earlyâstage engineering, optimize site layouts, and transition projects from development to EPC contractor engagement.
- Review EPC designs, interconnection agreements, and drawings/specifications to ensure technical requirements, NERC compliance, and constructability.
- Support Procurement and Project Finance through equipment coordination, ownerâfurnished equipment support, due diligence, and standardization of equipment and specifications.
- Establish and enforce standardized technical, drawing, and testing requirements while supporting Project and Construction Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree, electrical engineering preferred
- 5+ years utility scale PV experience
- Proficiency with project development software such as: CAD, PVSyst, GIS
