Electrical Project Engineer - Power & Energy

Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary engineering and energy consulting firm that's been recognized for their commitment to design & sustainability for 20+ years. Their team offers a wide range of services including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design, energy master planning, commissioning, and construction management.

Known for its expertise in sustainable and resilient infrastructure, the firm has played a key role in projects across healthcare, higher education, and government sectors. Its portfolio includes large-scale power generation systems, geothermal installations, and energy performance contracts, reflecting a strong commitment to innovation and energy efficiency.

We have an exciting opening for any EITs or PE Licensed Electrical Design Engineers that are eager to be part of our growing energy business unit. As part of this team, you'll be responsible for supporting design, field/commissioning phase, projects including power utilities, distributed generation, microgrids, geothermal and conventional power projects.

This position will require candidates to come in hybrid to our office in the Greater Camden County area (50 minutes outside of downtown Philadelphia). We are willing to consider candidates who are interested in relocating.

Compensation for this position will be based on experience and level of seniority.

Your qualifications:

  • 4-12 years of engineering experience with an emphasis on design or development engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years US based employer experience from a engineering firm, utility, EPC, etc.
  • Project experience designing ideally two of the following (distribution systems, substations, microgrids/distributed generations, biogas, district energy systems, hydrogen, etc.)
  • Experience using tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, etc. Revit is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related.
  • PE License or EIT preferred.
