A well-established and growing environmental consulting firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join their team in the St Louis area. About the Role

As an Environmental Project Manager, you'll lead and support a variety of environmental consulting projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting environmental due diligence and site assessments (Phase I and II)
  • Managing compliance audits and permitting processes
  • Overseeing multi-media site investigations (soil, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor)
  • Coordinating field activities such as drilling oversight, environmental sampling, and monitoring
  • Designing and implementing corrective action strategies
  • Preparing technical reports and proposals
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, and deliverables

Some travel may be required depending on project locations.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, geology, or a related field
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Experience with environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Professional certifications such as E.I.T., P.E., or P.G. are a plus
  • Experience with due diligence, compliance and permitting, site assessments (Phase I and II), subsurface investigations, and corrective action design.
  • Experience with Missouri Brownfields.
  • HAZWOPER training and state-specific environmental program experience (e.g., Brownfields, VCP) are advantageous
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
