Environmental Project Manager

About the Role
As an Environmental Project Manager, you'll lead and support a variety of environmental consulting projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting environmental due diligence and site assessments (Phase I and II)
- Managing compliance audits and permitting processes
- Overseeing multi-media site investigations (soil, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor)
- Coordinating field activities such as drilling oversight, environmental sampling, and monitoring
- Designing and implementing corrective action strategies
- Preparing technical reports and proposals
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
Some travel may be required depending on project locations.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, geology, or a related field
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Experience with environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
- Professional certifications such as E.I.T., P.E., or P.G. are a plus
- Experience with due diligence, compliance and permitting, site assessments (Phase I and II), subsurface investigations, and corrective action design.
- Experience with Missouri Brownfields.
- HAZWOPER training and state-specific environmental program experience (e.g., Brownfields, VCP) are advantageous
- Strong organizational and time management skills
