About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Building Services operating unit. This role is pivotal in driving safety culture, operational excellence, and financial performance while fostering a high-performing team and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep mechanical knowledge and a passion for service excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all regulations (OSHA, NFPA, ASHRAE).
  • Lead and inspire teams to achieve operational and financial goals.
  • Drive business growth through strategic planning, customer renewals, and contract expansion.
  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and talent development with support from Talent Acquisition.
  • Manage budgeting, capital planning, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with sales and project teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor quality control and implement process improvements.
  • Address customer service issues promptly and effectively

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in building services operations, maintenance management, or service-based project sales, including leadership experience; OR 15+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Proven expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and lifecycle cost management.
  • Strong understanding of compliance standards and service delivery models.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
