Land Development Project Engineer
About the Role
A growing civil engineering firm is seeking an Engineering-in-Training (EIT) to join its land development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of local projects ranging from large-scale master-planned communities to commercial and municipal developments.
The firm emphasizes smart, sustainable growth while maintaining a strong, collaborative, and in-person culture. Engineers benefit from hands-on project exposure, including regular site visits and involvement across all phases of design and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and support public infrastructure projects, including utilities, roadways, drainage systems, and lift stations
- Contribute to municipal, residential, and commercial land development projects
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and technical staff across multiple assignments
- Assist in managing project quality, schedules, and deliverables
- Participate in client meetings and support presentations to stakeholders
- Conduct periodic site visits (typically every two weeks)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification (or actively pursuing)
- Interest in land development and infrastructure design
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
