About the Role

This firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Land Development Project Manager to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams through all phases of land development projects-from concept to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering sustainable, innovative, and community-enhancing developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, design, permitting, and execution of land development projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, environmental) and external stakeholders (clients, municipalities, contractors).
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Lead client meetings, public hearings, and presentations to communicate project vision and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, zoning codes, and environmental standards.
  • Review and approve technical documents including site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in land development
  • Strong knowledge of land use planning, site design, permitting processes, and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
