Key Responsibilities
- Lead precast engineering projects from planning and design through delivery and closeout
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and client communication
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, and internal design teams
- Prepare and review drawings, plans, specifications, and calculations
- Perform QA/QC reviews and resolve technical design challenges
- Support proposal development and business development initiatives
- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
- Ensure projects meet applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in precast concrete design engineering
- Experience with underground structures including utility vaults, manholes, drainage structures, and pump stations
- Previous project management experience within the precast industry
- PE license preferred or ability to obtain
- Knowledge of ACI, ASCE, and AASHTO standards
- Familiarity with IBC codes is a plus
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and RISA 3D
- Strong client-facing, leadership, and business development skills
