About Us

We're currently working with a leading mechanical contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, and process piping solutions. Specializing in both new construction and ongoing service and maintenance across commercial, industrial, healthcare and institutional sectors.

Position Overview

They're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee mechanical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems, HVAC installations, and mechanical piping, with a proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of mechanical construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Conduct site visits and progress meetings to monitor performance and resolve issues.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of project management experience in mechanical contracting or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler and/or piping systems.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with design-build and design-assist projects is a plus!
