About the Role:
A leading mechanical construction firm is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial projects in the Raleigh area. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems, who thrives in fast-paced environments and values precision, safety, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout for mechanical scopes including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
- Lead project meetings, track progress, and proactively resolve issues.
- Review drawings, specifications, and change orders to maintain scope alignment.
- Support procurement and subcontractor selection processes.
- Foster strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management, with a focus on commercial and/or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems.
- Proven ability to manage multi-million dollar projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
