The Global Proposal and Detail Engineering team provides technical, commercial, and proposal development support to regional sales forces, ensuring consistent global standards and customer‑aligned solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimation, technical documentation, and bid strategy development.
- Work closely with the Global Proposal Lead to ensure all submissions follow global standards, templates, and processes.
- Collaborate with regional Sales teams and the PFC APAC Head to interpret customer requirements and define optimal technical solutions.
- Coordinate input from engineering, sourcing, finance, legal, and other functions to create comprehensive, competitive bid packages.
- Track, manage, and report proposal progress, risks, and opportunities, ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
- Ensure full compliance with internal commercial policies, proposal governance, and customer specifications.
- Support alignment of proposal content to technical standards, pricing guidelines, and strategic direction for the region.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to explain and present recommended solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 3-5 years' experience in proposals, tendering, project estimation, or similar functions-preferably in industrial, engineering, or energy sectors.
- Proficiency in engineering design tools such as Autodesk, SolidWorks, or NX.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation, cost structures, and bid processes.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across global teams and multiple time zones.
- Experience with MS Office, CRM platforms, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Professional proficiency in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Knowledge of engineering standards and piping/installation codes (ISO, EN/DIN, ASME, DVS/AWS).
