About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and facilitating Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), supporting the growth of our renewable energy portfolio. This position involves collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to structure and negotiate corporate PPAs that align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their renewable energy and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) needs, and providing tailored solutions. / 法人顧客との強固な関係を構築し維持し、その再生可能エネルギーおよびバッテリーエネルギー貯蔵システム(BESS)のニーズを理解し、カスタマイズされたソリューションを提供します。
  • Lead the structuring and negotiation of Corporate PPAs and BESS tolling agreements, ensuring terms align with our financial and risk management goals. / 法人向け電力購入契約(PPA)およびBESSのトールリング契約の構造化と交渉を主導し、契約条件が当社の財務目標とリスク管理目標と一致するように確保します。
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential corporate PPA opportunities and develop strategies to position the company competitively. / 市場分析を実施し、潜在的な法人向けPPAの機会を特定し、会社を競争力のある位置に置くための戦略を策定します。
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. / 内部および外部ステークホルダーと効果的にコミュニケーションをとり、プロジェクトの円滑な実行を確保する。
  • Assess and manage risks associated with corporate PPAs, working closely with the Risk Management team to implement mitigation strategies. / 企業向けPPAに関連するリスクを評価・管理し、リスク管理チームと協力して軽減戦略を実施する。
  • Collaborate with Finance and Analytics teams to create financial models for corporate PPA transactions, including revenue projections, pricing, and profitability analysis. / 財務とアナリティクスチームと協力し、企業向けPPA取引の財務モデルを作成し、収益予測、価格設定、利益分析を含む。
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies governing corporate PPAs and stay updated on regulatory changes. / 企業向けPPAに関する関連法規・方針への準拠を確保し、規制変更に常に最新の情報を維持する。
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Project Development, and Operations, to facilitate seamless project execution and optimize PPA and BESS tolling agreement outcomes. / 法務、財務、プロジェクト開発、オペレーションなど、クロスファンクショナルチームと密接に連携し、プロジェクトの円滑な実行を促進し、PPAおよびBESS料金契約の成果を最適化します。

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in negotiating and structuring corporate PPAs within the renewable energy sector. / 再生可能エネルギー業界における企業間電力購入契約(PPA)の交渉および構造化に関する豊富な経験。
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. / 優れたコミュニケーション能力と人間関係構築能力、内部および外部ステークホルダーとの関係構築・維持能力。
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry best practices. / 関連する規制枠組みと業界のベストプラクティスへの理解。
