Job Description - Laboratory Automation Engineer
A leading team of experts in the life sciences industry is seeking a Laboratory Automation Engineer to support the configuration and validation of complex laboratory automation systems. These systems include robotic arms, liquid handlers, and automated storage platforms. This position plays a critical role in software setup, system documentation, and qualification support across GxP-compliant environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure and verify laboratory automation systems such as Hamilton STAR liquid handlers, HRB robotic systems, and plate washers.
Author and execute configuration specifications and system administration practices.
Lead PC configuration, manage user access, and interface systems with IT infrastructure.
Draft and support the execution of Data Integrity test scripts including audit trail verification, user access, and configuration testing.
Collaborate with commissioning and validation teams to align FAT/SAT and IOQ/PQ activities.
Support loop check execution and maintain version-controlled configuration baselines.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with automated laboratory systems (e.g., Hamilton STAR, Cellario, integrated robotic platforms).
Proficiency in drafting DI specifications, configuration verification protocols, and traceability matrices.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS configuration in validated environments.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong team orientation with excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to make independent decisions and manage multiple priorities.
High level of professionalism and interpersonal effectiveness.

Compensation:
Estimated U.S. Salary Range:
$102,410 - $159,000 USD
