In this role, you'll provide technical leadership and innovative solutions for roofs, walls, windows, and waterproofing systems ensuring durability, energy efficiency, and compliance with codes and sustainability standards.
What You'll Do
- Deliver expert guidance on the design, assessment, and performance of building envelope systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate high-performance envelope solutions.
- Conduct condition assessments, forensic investigations, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, energy standards, and sustainability certifications.
- Prepare detailed specifications, technical reports, and oversee quality assurance during construction.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Licensure: Registered Architect with a recognized licensing body.
- Experience: 5+ years in building envelope design, consulting, or related architectural practice.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of building science principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software and building performance analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
