The Role
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced ecologist to join a dynamic team working on high-profile projects across NSW. You'll lead ecological investigations, guide strategy on biodiversity approvals, and mentor junior staff while engaging with clients and regulators. Work with a close knitted team with many hands-on projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead biodiversity assessments, ecological impact studies, and offset strategies for infrastructure, energy, and urban development projects.
- Prepare and review technical reports including BDARs, FFAs, and EIS chapters.
- Provide strategic advice on environmental legislation and approval pathways.
- Represent the company in stakeholder meetings and regulatory consultations.
- Mentor junior ecologists and contribute to team development.
- Support business development through proposals and client engagement.
