What You'll Do
- Lead geotechnical investigations for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, including site characterization, soil sampling, and subsurface exploration.
- Analyze field and lab data to develop geotechnical models and provide design recommendations for foundations, slopes, and earthworks.
- Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and construction specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for solar farms, wind farms, and infrastructure developments.
- Mentor junior engineers and field staff, fostering technical growth and quality standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
- Conduct site visits and construction oversight to ensure geotechnical compliance and performance.
- Support proposal development and contribute to strategic growth initiatives across service lines.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., gINT, GeoStudio, PLAXIS) and AutoCAD.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with foundation design, slope stability, retaining structures, and pavement analysis.
- Familiarity with GIS tools and environmental site assessments.
- Background in renewable energy, transportation, or water infrastructure projects.
- Active involvement in professional societies (e.g., ASCE, Geo-Institute).
