Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing MEP systems for various types of buildings, including commercial, residential, and industrial projects. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for new and existing buildings.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into overall building designs.
  • Perform detailed calculations and simulations to establish construction specifications.
  • Develop and review MEP drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure they are installed correctly and functioning optimally.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with MEP systems during construction and operation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in MEP engineering to continuously improve system efficiency and sustainability.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and draftspersons.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of current design codes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
