About the Role
In this position, you will act as a senior technical authority on structural engineering matters. You will lead design activities, support multi‑disciplinary project teams, and play a key role in delivering high‑quality structural solutions across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design, modelling, and analysis for complex building and infrastructure projects
- Prepare, review, and stamp engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Ensure all structural solutions comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements
- Provide technical oversight during construction, including site visits and issue resolution
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the ongoing development of the engineering team
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, and external partners
- Support bid and proposal development with technical input
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license (Georgia preferred or ability to obtain)
- 7-10+ years of structural engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP2000)
- Solid understanding of relevant industry codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex technical challenges and lead project delivery
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
