South Korea Territory Sales Manager - Data Center (Electrical Solutions)

A global electrical equipment/solutions MNC is looking for a South Korea Territory Sales Manager in Seoul to lead the growth initiatives in South Korea's data center market. This role is ideal for a strategic sales professional with a strong engineering background and a proven track record in the mission-critical infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth in South Korea with a first-year sales target of USD 1M.
  • Develop and manage sales channels across North Asia, including onboarding and supporting representatives.
  • Build and execute strategic plans targeting data center end users.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing strategies, and sales proposals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend product development strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, production, and finance.
  • Support import/export processes and trade account receivables.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of contacts and accounts in Asia.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in:
    • Selling to mission-critical markets (e.g., data centers).
    • Working with busbar or similar electrical infrastructure products.
    • Developing and executing strategic sales plans.
  • Existing network within South Korea's mission-critical market like Power Distribution Systems (PDS) is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in English (minimum 50% fluency).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to travel across South Korea (up to 60%)
