About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead transportation projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients to deliver innovative solutions that improve mobility and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead transportation engineering projects from concept through completion.
- Develop roadway and traffic design plans, including geometric design, traffic control, and safety improvements.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and traffic analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of AASHTO, MUTCD, and INDOT standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
