Job Title: Substation Construction Manager
Location: West Coast (Initial Project Near Portland, OR)
Salary: $110,000 - $150,000
Schedule: Flexible | Vacation: 4 Weeks | Holidays: 7 Paid
Are you an experienced Construction Manager with a background in substation projects? Our client, a leading engineering and project services firm, is kicking off a major initiative outside Portland and is seeking a skilled professional to lead construction efforts across the Western U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage substation construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Travel to project sites across the Western U.S. as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3-6+ years of experience managing substation construction projects
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and utility standards
- Certifications such as NICET, NETA, CAPM, or PMP are a plus (but not required)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
