Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team to prepare, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
- Interpret and analyze survey data using advanced technology and industry-standard software.
- Assess site conditions and development factors, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements, and condominium documentation.
- Organize and manage survey crews, technicians, and office staff to ensure project efficiency.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys, particularly for renewable energy projects such as solar and wind.
- Provide construction-related services and mentor junior staff on tasks like permit applications, quantity estimates, and document preparation.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to deliver accurate, timely, and budget-compliant results.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, conferences, and networking events.
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor, supporting training, career development, and team growth.
- Foster a positive team culture through recognition and performance rewards.
Qualifications
- Active Professional Survey License (PLS or PSM).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the surveying industry.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with Trimble Business Center is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, GPS, Data Collection, Legal Descriptions, and Real Estate documentation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
