Water Service Designer
We're partnering with a leading client seeking an experienced Water Services Designer to deliver small to medium-scale projects across Sydney.
It's an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong water industry experience and Sydney Water accreditation (C1 or C2), ready to contribute to high-standard designs and practical solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver small to medium projects, including proposals, agreements, and technical/tender documentation.
- Research and analyze data to support planning and decision-making; present findings clearly.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, authorities, and utility agencies.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and tender documents.
- Develop practical solutions to project challenges and ensure quality control processes are applied.
- Monitor progress, manage budgets, and ensure outputs meet technical standards and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Conduct site inspections, attend meetings, and oversee site works for compliance.
Skills
- 5+ years' experience in the water industry.
- Sydney Water accreditation as C1 or C2 Designer (essential).
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; 12D experience is a plus.
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (preferred, not essential).
- Strong communication, prioritization, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams with high attention to detail.
