Expected salary range: $90,900-$110,000 (varies based on experience), plus bonus and 401(k).


Responsibilities

Primary Purpose of Position
This sales professional will be responsible for prospecting, developing relationships with customers, and acquiring new business.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage high-level decision makers within target businesses.
  • Cultivate relationships with large enterprise clients.
  • Deliver presentations and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Understand customer objectives and risk tolerances; collaborate internally to develop tailored energy strategies.
  • Travel as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Attend in-person training, meetings, and other key engagements.
  • Develop energy plans and strategies, prepare proposals, and close sales transactions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience (or 9 years without a degree).
  • Strong network within the business community, government, and public interest groups.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum 5 years of business experience, preferably in sales.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business-to-business energy sales experience in electric, gas, nuclear, demand response, solar, and energy efficiency products.
