Construction Survey CAD Technician
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Survey CAD Technician to join a growing surveying and engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of surveying projects while developing technical skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Compute and prepare various types of surveys, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
- Develop staking files for field crews using CAD software.
- Process mapping, scanning, and survey data to create accurate deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers and survey professionals to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Perform quality control reviews to verify accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience using CAD platforms such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to learn new technologies, workflows, and industry best practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
