Electrical Engineer
A growing engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of electrical systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality engineering solutions and meeting client expectations.
- Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations using standard engineering tools and software
- Conduct site assessments, field inspections, and provide construction support as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, and project management) to ensure integrated project delivery
- Review and analyze project requirements, codes, and standards to ensure compliance
- Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design or installation issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3-8+ years of relevant engineering experience (level may vary depending on role)
- Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
